roller skate circus

By Joshua Martin

elastic measures inundate the spine
rolling through portioned swelling
loosened like quinine alpine shoeshine
zapping one faced frolic
shrinking to sizeable streaking
window cleansed of manhole cover
mildew fingerprints uttered
stuttering psalms between curtain rods
melted over griddle proxy
storming aquarium heavy lifting
wherever once a quince squints
dance steps pester green iguana
roast until cleanest
